Mack Custom Homes, LLC was started in 1985 by Paul Mack. He began building houses part-time while working full-time at UPS. Paul retired from UPS in 2010 and continued building houses full-time. His son, Michael, graduated from college and joined the business in 2010. The company remains small so that each project gets the undivided attention it deserves.
- Design. We have designers in-house that can draw plans for your next home. We handle the drawing, engineering and permitting for you. Or, we can use plans that you already have. Our managers oversee the entire process from ground breaking to final cleaning.
- Bid. We bid the job using your plans or the plans we developed in-house. Requests for bids are issued to key subcontractors (framing, roofing, trusses, insulation, HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
- Build. We finalize the plans, send to a structural engineer for engineering and pull the required permits for construction. The project is scheduled and we begin by clearing and preparing the lot for the foundation. Each step is closely monitored by our managers and required inspections are completed during the build phase.
What We Build
We specialize in building quality homes that are truly custom from the ground up. Materials are selected based on proven history within the residential market, ease of maintenance and longevity. Our customers have the opportunity to design every detail of their home including interior design and layout, trim detail, paint colors and finishes, doors, windows, lighting fixtures, plumbing fixtures, appliances, flooring and landscaping. We share our opinions and expertise to help guide our clients in the selection process.
Our goal is to minimize change orders by listening to our clients and preparing an accurate bid from the start. This process provides a high level of transparency to the client and minimizes unforeseen expenses during the construction phase of the project.
Where We Build
We build in communities located in Northwest Florida. These communities include Pensacola, Gulf Breeze, Cantonment, Molino, Pace and Milton. We typically build within a 30 mile radius of our offices located just north of Nine Mile Road in Cantonment, FL but may build outside this area depending on the project. We can build on your lot or we may have lots to choose from based on availability.
